MURA Annual welcome luncheon for recent McMaster University retirees

Starting in the fall of 2018, MURA began hosting an annual luncheon for recent retirees. Members of MURA Council attend to welcome new members into the association, and guests also learn what MURA can do for them, and the benefits and perks of being a McMaster retiree.

*The 2021 and 2022 events were held via Zoom due to the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic. There were short presentations by invited speakers at each event, and participants received a dining gift card.

Reception for new McMaster University retirees hosted by the University President's Office

Each year from 2004 to 2012, the University President hosted a reception in honour of those McMaster employees who had retired in the previous twelve months. Members of MURA Council also attended to welcome the new members into the association.
