Retired McMaster University faculty and staff can apply for an on-campus retiree parking permit at no charge.
McMaster's automated parking system requires a transponder, which attaches to the car’s front window.
Conditions of parking
Free retiree parking is available in all gated lots except:
September 1 to April 30 each year:
May 1 to August 31 each year:
A valid MTO permit is required to obtain a McMaster Accessible permit. McMaster Accessible parking permit holders are allowed to park in most gated lots on campus. To apply for an MTO permit, please contact the Parking office by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or in person at ETC 102 (open Monday to Friday 9 am to 4 pm) and Campus Store (open 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Thursday and 9 am to 4 pm on Fridays)
