Campus parking

Retired McMaster University faculty and staff can apply for an on-campus retiree parking permit at no charge.

  • retiree permits are issued on a 12 month basis and must be renewed annually; renew prior to your expiry date by email, phone or by postal mail to avoid service disruption
  • retiree permits are not transferable to other people (spouses, family members, friends, etc. when not accompanied by the retiree who owns the permit)
  • let Parking Services know about any changes to your address or vehicle information by email, phone or by postal mail
  • if you resume working for the University, you will need to pay for your parking permit
